I havnt heard much about the x800 gto but the specs look much better than the 6600gt. btw im looking at pci-e cards.

thanks :)

The X800 GTO is a good card, I've got an X800 GT and am very very happy with that. For the extra £50 it's worth spedning the money on the GTO I didn't because my max budget was £100 and the X800 GT suited my pocket quite nicely.

Hi there. THe X800GTO is the better card of the 2 mentioned & the one to get.

If you are going to be getting a card in that price range then this is probably the one to get....

PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO16 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-055-PC).

THe difference being this card has Sixteen pixel pipelines & so is effectively an X800XL. Its core is only 120MHz slower & ram 100MHz slower than an X850XT, so is a very good card for the money. Overclocking will probably get you close to the X850XT if not over. That would be my choice to get.
