x800 xt pe No sm 3.0

Hey guys i recentlly brought Oblivion and being the n00b i am forgot that my card (x800 xt pe) doesnt have sm 3.0 so i can only have Bloom on not HDR but how come all the 6800 cards have sm 3.0 but are way cheaper than the x800 xt pe? AGP by the way not PCI-E!

Ati decided not to include it whereas Nvidia did.

yeah, ATI decided to hold off a bit on SM3. It features on the X1800's though. To be fair, it's only very recently that any games have been making proper user of it.
