We have 200, the first 100 will be sold at £299.99 and the remaining 100 shall be sold at £349.99, so snooze and you miss out and I doubt we will see any more after this as our cost is £403.33 exc. VAT, so the only way this price is possible is via support from Acer and my guess due to the loss made they won't be bringing any more in or once this lot is gone they are sold out. :)

Cracking price in the current economic climate, but think I'll stick with my AOC G2460PG for now. Waiting for the S2417DG or AG241QG to hit nearer this price point before I bite.

What's the benefit of 240 over 144hz? I love my 144hz and wouldn't go back to 60hz but can't see 240 being much different?

You won't notice any difference at all ~ until you go back to 144Hz, then you suddenly notice that something is wrong. It's all rather intangible. It does make a difference, but casual gamers need not apply!!

240hz is about input lag smoothness and motion blur. If you turn on ULMB you will see how blurry everything else is. You actually need above 240fps to really get rid of it and match 120 or 144hz ULMB. You lose the sync bit of gsync though so you get judder. Going 240hz+ is really the only option for those used to ULMB like myself and my eyes just do not like 120hz ULMB anymore.

I shall report back tomorrow because i unboxed a 240hz screen this morning and have to leave it but dribbling about getting on later for some Overwatch and Source games at 240fps. I know my 1080 can do it because previously it was doing 3840x2160 dsr at 120hz without a hiccup. But it still was not enough!

Oh and the PUBG 144fps cap is only a temporary thing. Titanfall 2 also has this limit too sadly.
