Xbox 360 elite, worth it?

I dunno, kinda had an incident involving my missus and she threw my 360 which is now broken.
Now to my dilemma, is the elite worth it?

(Don't worry about her, she'll calm down, I hope)

If you have no 360 you might as well. As long as you want HMDI and 120gb that is.

It's an awful lot more money. Assuming the peripherals and HDD still work just get a core for £150

It's a 10 second job to swap the drive covers on his existing premium with a new core.

lol. For the price difference between the core and premium you might as well pick up a premium and save yourself the hassle. Then sell all your old stuff. That way you get nice new shiny stuff.

Get a premium, you can mod them easily. Joke. If you've got a 1080p HDTV the elite might just be worth that extra, personally there isn't much of a difference.

I have my mates sat in a bag behind me, and although it's IMO better looking than the original versions I fail to see where the extra money is, 120GB that at present doesn't offer anything apart more storage for demos, media etc and a HDMI connection which isn't really neccesary.

The Elite I have sounds louder than my old Premium, in fact it's in a bag because the missus heard it and told me to get out of the lounge as it was giving her a migrane

+ you can get a premium a few games, and extra controller for less

BTW: It also looks **** if you already have white controllers etc
