Xbox 360 randomly shutdown during 3 hour game play and wont switch back on ?

Was playing Zombies on COD and up to level 26! when my xbox just suddenly powered off! and refuses to switch back on!...... Am guessing its overheated?

I have my 360 vertically standing up does that make any difference? + is it now dead?

Working now but my power brick went red so am guessing that overheated

Does it have enough clearance around the power brick? Nothing on top of it? Well ventilated?

It was kinder jammed in a hot stuffy corner, the same as my xbox. Plan to move them and mod the brick and console with some fans

you will probably find just moving them to a well ventilated area will be fine
