hi is it possible for 2 xbox 360's to play against each other without the need for 2 live subscriptions, 1 has gold membership and the other has no membership. :)

can they polay against each other wirelessly ? ;) ;)
 
Yes it is possible to play against each other over system link if the game supports it, but I think system link is only usable over an ethernet cable.

Edit: It might be possible to do wireless through a router, but I'm not sure because I've never tried it.

ok thanks, wireless would be ideal but using a cable is easy as the rooms are next door :)

thanks for confirming im lucky the rooms are next door to each other so a wee hole in the wall and run a network cable between them.:D

WHEN I HAD ALRIK, KREEEEE, WINGZERO124, CRAZY CAD MAN ROUND AT MISS K'S AND MY HOUSE WE MANAGED TO GET 3 GAMERS IN THE LIVING ROOM & 3 GAMERS IN THE KITCHEN USING 1 ROUTER AND 1 SWITCH WITH ONE CABLE RUNNING BETWEEN THEM (WITH CABLES COMING FROM THE SWITCH AND ROUTER TO EACH 360)!!!

stop shouting you lot :D

does this mean if i get a switch i could connect 2 pcs and 2 xbox to the belkin extender/ access point (used instead of xbox wireless adapter) and all 4 units could share the one wireless device for internet access or online gaming ?
