yeah think you get friends list with silver and it keeps record of your achievements and stuff like that u can download demos and trailers with silver only thing gold is for is if you wanna play multi online.

i still say a chunk of the subs is going towards the network infrastructure, and if you have 3 accounts and only one XBOX you wont put any more strain on the service than you would if you shared a live subs.

The account should be per xbox not per user.

You can do everything on Silver except play people online. Sometimes downloads from the MP are for Gold only, though I believe all so far have been made available to Silver a week later.

why? i mean lets look at the largest online community world of warcraft they charge a lot more pe annum than the 360 . if theres 3 ppl in the household playing the game you'd need 3 accounts if you wanted to play at the same time if you never played the game at the same time u'd only to share 1 account and just set different characters up.

in 360 language if you have 3 ppl who wanna use xbl under seperate profiles you pay. if there willing to share you save money .
