XBOX Live Points USA / UK query

Hi,

i have a xbox live account registered with a UK address. Can I use a USA 4000point xbox live points card bu changing the registration to USA (if there is a way) and then turning back to UK to continue enjoying UK marketplace?

I think so. If you look online you can get them for a little bit of a discount, but alas we can't do much about it.

what did you want to buy with points?

as i know when you first download arcade games you can play them on any of the profiles/accounts on the machine. so if you started a new us account but games with that you could still play them on the uk account

im not sure if you can do the same with game map etc

Points and Live sub cards are now region locked. As already mentioned you could always make a US Live account and use the points on this account (there are a few guides on making a US account online but I'm not sure if it's ok to link to the one I know about).
