Xbox RGB SCART on Xbox 360?

Just a quick question.

I have just bought a 360, and plan on using it on my TFT upstairs (I have the VGA cable), and my 28" CRT telly down stairs.

I currently have an original Xbox on the CRT downstairs hooked up via an RGB SCART cable.

From what I can tell the connector on the back of the 360 is the same as the one on the original Xbox, so before I go and buy a new 360 RGB SCART cable, will my current original Xbox cable work on the 360?

No, the original Xbox cable won't work. The Official Xbox 360 RGB scart is very difficult to come by now, but there are 3rd party alternatives. There was an official one pre-owned in my local game rental store the other day for £2.99. Bit of a pain really because I needed one for my second 360 2 weeks ago but because I couldn't find the official one I bought a 32" LCD :/

Ive got a Official RGB Scart from when I had a 32" CRT in my spare room. how much do these go for as I dont need mine now.

Like I said above, preowned in shops they sell for £2.99, so err not much
