How do you see which resolution they're running at? All I see from the list is Series S/X support and the associated max framerate.

You can’t. I just know those of the top of my head from Digital Foundry.

Resolution matters very little to the visual quality of the game when all other aspects (textures and graphics settings) are equal, but the jump from 30 to 60 FPS make an immense difference.

Damnation. It’s gotta feel better fighting those dragons at 60fps now. Too many hours on PS4 Inquisition to change now.

Can anyone recommend a USB NVME enclosure that works with a SX? I’ve seen a few reports that say it’s hit and miss. The Asus ROG one works but it’s expensive!

Not much point unless you like to spend money for a few extra seconds of loading. Better off with a SATA SSD.

The main reason is I’m going to sell off my PC, but one of the NVME’s in it is a 2TB. Rather than selling it for a loss it makes sense to keep it and use it as a nice big backup/storage for past gen games.

OK, the ROG enclosure you're on about looks to be around £50. The only other "name" that Digital Foundry recommend is Sabrent. I am currently using their USB to SATA cable and it's good. So maybe Sabrent's USB to NVME enclosure for £40? But that's still in the same ballpark. I don't know why that price is too high when you've already paid at least £200 for the drive itself.

Series X in stock on MS store. Just got another one for my brother. There was a drop at Very today as well.

That seemed to have lasted a good hour. I added one to my basket at 7.30pm but I decided against it right now as I’ve just shelled out for a 2TB SSD.

New firmware which shows you the games that are in Quick Resume status and 10,000 achievement reward points are back for three weeks.

Stock is supposed to be getting to normal levels from next month onwards.

I’m loving my Series S. It just highlights how seamless everything can be compared to faffing about on PC. Plus it will only feel better when proper next gen games come along.

That was a good tip. Although I did find fighting the cyber demon really hard even on easy difficulty. Took me about five goes to get that cheevo. Now well on my way to the next 1000 with Day of the Tentacle.

I was going to moan about how tight it was to just give episode one of the walking dead until I realised you had to download the others seperate.

Ha, and yet that is what PlayStation did with Batman on PS Now. Not amused.

Is the xbox MS Rewards working ok for everyone? it won't connect for me today. I've tried fully rebooting the xbox but still the same, just freezes at the medal image.

Nah, it's borked in at least the UK and Germany. Redditors are posting about there.

10,000 achievement reward points are back for three weeks.

11 days in and I'm about 4300 points. 10 days to go to get 5700. I really can't be bothered with it this time around as much. I'm itching to get back on my PS4 frankly.

Yup me too! But I really want to hold on and see if they bring out a 20th anniversary edition later in the year.

How're rewards points people getting on with the 10,000 point challenge? Tomorrow is the last day. I reckon I'll be finishing on about 7,500. I don't have the same enthusiasm as back in January.

Very briefly turned on control "ultimate edition" with series X updates earlier. It can't carry over my save file from the older copy?

Even though I bought as the "ultimate edition" (without upgrades) in November ? Seems odd

The Series X|S version has a lot of the code rewritten so it made it incompatible with older save games.

I've procrastinated all day. Not sure I'll hit 10k. 8 should be doable.

Looks like I'm finishing up on 8545 which I'm well pleased with.
