LOL, so it looks like this is the second reason there are no Series X to buy. First lot of chips went to the XCloud blades, second lot has gone in these Halo consoles.

Maybe the first limited edition PS5 will be a Horizon Forbidden West one. That would be cool.

No because Quick Resume throws a spanner in the works and causes save conflicts.

what's not clear to me is if it does put the unique identifier numbers on if those numbers show up in game or if it just shows the name you chose without the numbers

Older games will display your gamertag as Joebloggs9324 and newer ones will either be Joebloggs or Joebloggs#9324 (the # bit in smaller characters).

Thats my combo, the S is more than good enough for me for console gaming.

Definitely changed my outlook since then, now sort of edging back to PC and putting the S on the back burner. All swings and roundabouts as a gamer. Quick Resume never seems to work on new releases so the shine has worn off with that feature somewhat.

Imagine if it was Take Two and they got exclusivity to GTA VI.

Take-Two's combined portfolio includes franchises such as BioShock, Borderlands, Grand Theft Auto, NBA 2K, and Red Dead among others.

Out of all of them, I kind of hope it's Ubisoft. They really need to get their assesgames on Game Pass. Even as part of Ubisoft Connect like EA Play for Ultimate users.

Interesting; another name I'd pitch might be Sega; its pretty unusual that Football Manager 2022 is going straight onto GamePass Day 1; effectively giving up a lot of revenue (especially on PC) for something that must be one of their bigger sellers each year.

I'm not sure Japanese companies are allowed to be bought by foreign companies.

I’ve been playing Subnautica on PC as seeing if I can do without a physical Xbox and just use my PC and Xcloud. Just got the new vehicle so it should be a lot more fun now. And how refreshing to hear an Indian accent as the voice of the AI!

So Marvel Avengers is 139.5 gig download and then a 47.7 gig update patch. Jeepers!

Looks like that's an XCloud job to me - except it's not on there. I thought all new Game Pass entries came on the cloud as standard. What a crock.

Gave up with Scarlet Nexus very early on. Plays like so many other games, plus I'm old and **** at remembering combos. Not a fan of the anime aesthetic either.

It's literally one console or the other for me (GF says so) due to baby.

Is it me or does quality mode feel lower than 30fps?

That must be you. Every comment I've seen saying it feels like 60fps and that the developers are wizards.

I only played FH4 on Seris S via Gamepass (it was an optimised title).

I don't recall any performance/quality mode options so just wondering what fps did FH4 run at on the series S?

Planning to fire up FH5 after work today.

FH4 was the same as FH5 is - 1080p60 only.

Personally, I'd rather they dropped Xbox Live Gold's "Games with Gold" and then gave you the DLC for any game that is on Game Pass. e.g. Desperados III I've played on GP but I'd never buy DLC for it as I don't own it. Odd that they gave away Hivebusters with Gears 5 though.
