Wondering if anyone can help, I only have one 2.1 hdmi connection on my TV. Having the PS5 and Series X it is a pain unplugging the hdmi each time. Does anyone have any suggestions for a splitter that supports 2.1 120hz hdr etc?

The Witcher hasn't had the update for X/PS5 yet, but even so that can produce some great looking scenes for your OLED. The contrast in the dark scenes is insanely good. One part where you're inside of Kaer Morgen and using a tool that glows seemed piercingly bright to me last night and that was on about 30 OLED light in a black room.

Thanks, I think may have gotten very lucky ;)

I've heard AC Valhalla is decent too? 4k60, does it have HDR?

Absolutely stunning in 4K with hdr. The lighting is by far the strongest feature of this game, they nail the atmosphere.

Auto hdr also brings some back compat games back to life too - halo for example, transforms the older games.

Does Star Wars Fallen Order run at 4k60?

Nope its not been enhanced for the new consoles unfortunately.

Its either 1080p/60 or 4k/30

Its why I went back to it on PC where I can at least get 1440p/60 on my 4k tv as the 1080p/60 mode on console was just too aliased

It’s never ceases to amaze me how quickly you can switch between some pretty hardware demanding games. Far quicker and easier than on PC. I didn’t expect to have so many games stored and available for quick resume.

It's 4k30 and its horrible but the performance mode is glorious. 30fps needs to die and fast. Every game that's backward compat needs to have a perf mode.

Was very excited to play Skyrim Special Edition, but nope. Its 30fps with no 60fps mode. I find it frustrating that these games can't have their code changed to support 60. The hardware is plenty good enough.

EDIT. GUYS, FOUND A WAY TO RUN SKYRIM AT 4K60 AND NOT DISABLE ACHIEVEMENTS IF THAT'S YOUR THING.

Download the uncap fps mod and enable. Restart the game which will restart in 4k60 then disable the mod and start game.

I had a quick play on 4k30. It looked good and played okay. Not sure this is my jam though, the combat seems a little clumsy. I'll give it another go.

Was it a worthwhile play though?

I've not got through it all yet, I've just completed Kashyyyk, and unlocked a couple of new force powers. Combat did improve a bit when I had a few unlocks. The combat is a bit button mashy though. For free as part of game pass it i'll stick with it, not the best game i've played, but equally not the worst. As yo usay the visuals and fluidity are good, and a I do like the RPG-lite skill unlocks etc.

Finished downloading games after getting the S last week. In total I've got 102 games installed between the internal storage and a 2TB external hard drive. But the internal storage only has enough space for the following:

Call of Duty Cold War
Destiny 2
Fortnite
Forza Horizon 4
Haven
Planet Coaster
Rainbow Six: Siege
Yes, Your Grace

Roughly 16GB left over. Those are all X|S Enhanced titles, which require installation on the SSD. There's also Gears Tactics, which is backed up to external storage, and Halo MCC, Ori 2, Sea of Thieves, Vermintide 2 and We Happy Few, which are all enhanced, but can be played from the hard drive.

So... workable for now. But I can see this being a problem for me once more games are enhanced. Transferring back and forth to the hard drive is pretty slow too. Might have to pick up a 1TB SSD next time I see one cheap, and use it for quickly moving enhanced MP games back and forth.

Skyrim Special Edition is stunning, so good in 4k60 on OLED here. It looked incredible modded back on PC, but it was only 1440p back then and not on OLED in 4k.

You'll be needing a switch box unfortunately there's no 2.1 available yet apparently there on the way

8 games not enough for you to play on demand?

I moved ff15 to the internal and tested the loading speeds, the game is not enhanced for X/S so can be run from external and the speed is way faster than my pc at loading.

Quick resume I still have no idea if it ever gets used, no instructions on how it works, probably isnt that valuable to me, at most I perhaps might have two games on the go at once, flip flopping between 3+ games at once just seems odd, unless the console is been shared.

I am fine with 20 mins per 100gig transfer speed as well, but I guess I am more patient than others. Something I will probably have to do maybe once or twice a month. But a cheapo sata ssd used on a usb port would probably triple the speed, so that might work well for you.
