Hi

Spot on. Once you disable the mod after rebooting with it enabled, the 60fps stays stuck on as it enables it through boot and not the mod menu (even though you get that message where it does a reload of assets in game). The game then thinks you are using no mods so the achievements unlock.

I've been doing it this way and enjoying 4k60 with cheeves popping fine the last few days..
When I tried it actually went back to 30 fps

Having gone home for Christmas, I've connected my X to a 1440p monitor (60FPS) and the black levels are so much lighter than OLED that I can barely believe it. Games still look incredible on there but there's no difference in the noise level/warmth when playing Witcher 3 it seems.

Yeah. You can unlock it to 60fps by using the fps uncap mod. If you look on last page, I posted there's a way to do 60fps and also not have achievements disabled in doing so.

The mods improve the game a lot (bug fixes, graphics, additional content, better balance) so it’s well worth using them instead of getting useless achievements.

100% not going back to 30fps here.

Run game
Go to mods and enable uncapped fps (it'll be disabled from previous attempt)
Quit game then load again
Enable uncapped fps (don't worry about load order message)
Then continue your game. 60fps will now be on.

It is indeed but I enjoy popping cheeves, always gives me another layer of things to do in a game. Plus, they aren't as useless as you think. You actually get rewarded somewhat from achievements now as you can claim rewards.

Put these on and see if it helps with your achievement addiction:

1. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch
2. Uncap FPS
3. Graphics Pack
4. Graphics Pack - Assets 1
5. Graphics Pack - Assets 2
6. Add On - Landscapes & Dungeons
7. Lush Trees
8. Add On - High Hrothgar
9. Add On - Winterhold & Snow Elf Ruins
10. Add On - Farmhouse & Orc
11. Add On - High Poly Project
12. Enhanced Lights and FX
13. ELFX | SMIM Performance Patch
14. Add On - SMIM Performance
15. [XB1] Surreal Lighting

The extra content more than makes up for achievement “content”. You can always do 10 minutes of work to earn the monetary value of the achievements.

Thanks. I played the game for years on pc with over 300 mods so I know how good the game is with them all.

Nothing for me even though I am signed up for the newsletters but they usually get put into my junk folder then emptied within a day or 2. Too much crap coming through on my email these days.

Nothing for me. Which newsletter? I think I have the Microsoft newsletter.

It's titled "Gifts for gamers made easy" if that helps. Pop that in to your email's search box and it should pop up if you have it.

The link to the voucher is hidden. You have to click on a present in the bottom image of that email.

Been looking at reviews and wouldn't mind replacing my aging (and working perfectly..) Logitech G27 with either the G923 or Thrustmaster's TX Leather Edition with the T3PA Pedals. I've only known the Logitech stuff and it will only be used with my Series X (my only computer is my MBP...), so it only needs Xbox compatibility. It's also to be mounted on a GT Omega Stand.

Has anyone got any feedback on wheels at the £300 mark? I'm not looking to go beyond that price and any first hand stuff will be appreciated :)

edit: Conflicted with a lot of the things I'm reading so have gone for the 'better the devil you know' and ordered a G923 that should arrive Thursday. It sounds like a number of small things I'd like updated on my G27 have been, plus the addition of the buttons that I really liked on the DF:GT are back!

Hey mate,
So just to confirm, I should login to my xbox with my brother in laws account, sign up for gold and set the xbox as his 'home'. He will never play games or own another xbox just as an FYI.
Then if I login to the same xbox with his sons account (childs account) he will have gold as well?

The xbox is only ever going to be used by his son, my brother in law will only ever use the xbox to authorize any games/payments etc.
Hi
Sorry for the delayed response
Yes - the console set as the home console will allow anyone to play on there and get the benefits of the home console owner - so if your brother in law will have gold under his name then you log in under him and set the console to home. any account then using that console ( the child in this case ) will also be able to use the console and gold without having your brother in law logged in all the time.
this means if your brother in law were to have another console -he could also log onto the new console and also get the benefits as long as hes logged in
Hopefully that makes sense ?

Yeah that makes sense. Just done it and everything appears to be working. Cheers

Destiny 2 on XSX runs and plays so well. I previously played it on PC and honestly this doesn't feel like I'm getting a gimped version. I briefly played it on a PS4 and that felt horrible at 30fps and with much reduced graphics settings.
