Orcs must die was out in January though?
Did they pull it? I tried it and it played like it was on the original xbox. Loads of complaints about how poorly it ran. The old ported game ran 10x better and gameplay was far better as well.

I saw a few old COD games go on there and as I've not played one since Blops 2 I thought I'd give ww2 a go. Fired up Campaign on Vet and after 7 levels or so the game bugged out on me at the end of the hardest section of the game. I had to start the whole level again, gave up put it on normal and ran through it. I don't know why I needed to remind myself how poor COD campaigns are. :D

No idea. It wasn't that long ago that I last played the game, and they were regularly giving updates and improving. Weird to jsut fully pull it for a short while over just keep doing updates.

We played on xbox and I forget what level we were up to, I think 60 or so, and it ran like dog poop by the final 2 waves. Literally 2 fps would just have to sit and wait until the enemies numbers were dropping before we could even try.

It does amaze me that the game is so power hungry, when the old ones ran good on much older hardware.

I guess the limitation of consoles is the issue

I bought Aliens on release. Was great fun for a few hours, bit same same after a while though. Lack of a playerbase was one of the main problems as you ended up with dumb AI team mates and when you did get a decent game was full of people spraying flamethrowers everywhere so you couldn’t see what was going on half the time :D

i think actually what's happened is these games are now on the "standard" game pass, where as before we just ultimate/pc. whatever standard is any way. as the bottom row all games have been on game pass for 6 months alrready

Loving the Battlefield 6 open beta at the moment, if anyone wants to play during beta or once it comes out add me on xbox! :)
Its great fun, had early access since Thursday, not stopped. High hopes for final release but feeling more confident after this last few days!

Yeah I’m loving it so far, put it in performance mode as the graphic one was a little laggy and tbh it feels smooth as butter now.

I’ll be buying for release, beta has been really good fun. If anyone wants to group up for beta or for release and play as a team add me.

I can’t seem to launch the BF6 beta. I get to the title screen with the four dudes overlooking the city then all I get is the little square loading animation that never progresses.

Had a few hours on it. I like it although die a lot. Might get on it again later and next weekend before I decide to buy it.

Had a lot of fun with it, just wish there was a way to throw medkits at people? Maybe thats coming in the full release?
What really grinds my gears though is why do games nowadays feel they have to render some 3d scene on the front menu that makes the xbox still run at full load and as such throw out a load of heat.
When your literally looking at nothing. The X is an absolute chimney pot playing this game.

Hadn't noticed the heat tbh. I feel like I'll be buying it at launch but I do hope they slow the movement down a bit, most places I have looked at comments most are saying the same thing. There is a very good thread in the PC games section on it.
