Xbox360 Three red lights of filth !

So was cleaning up a bit a home and sorting out all wires and stuff around the telly.

I decided to plug my play and charge kit into the USB at the back of my xbox as it can then be tucked away and out of site.

I decided to have a quick game on it, bearing in mind this xbox is about 3months old tops and has been played for all of about 10-15 hours.

So I get the dreaded 3 red lights and it won't do anything tired turning it on and off several times with no luck at all. So I think unplug the usb charge kit from the back and hey hey its now working fine again !

Should i have not plugged it in at the back as i though 1 usb is the same as another ????

Or will the xbox start to miss behave now ?

It was definitely 3 red lights and not 4? If it was 4 it's the AV cable not in properly. If it is 3 I'd see how it goes, if it happens again take the 360 back to where you bought it and get it swapped.

The USB port in the back is fine to use so that shouldn't have caused a problem, try again and see if it does it again?

It was defo 3 red lights. I'll see if it does it again tonight.
