got my XDA Mini S the other week, quite pleased with it, bought a wifi PCI card to go with it. I can get the net and stuff working on it most of the time although it can be temperamental, Zone Alarm is the culprit I think even though I have setup the IP range to the Trusted zone.
Anyway, How do you get file sharing setup on it? I want to view shared files on the XDA, things like movie clips, music etc, so I can maybe transfer them over.
Also, I cant seem to get WPA/WEP encryption working on it, so the wifi has to be left unsecure. Ive checked all the settings but refuses to play ball.
If youve got it working please could you show your general settings.
I may get a wifi router at some point, would this be a better setup to get file sharing/net access sorted out?
PS, why the hell doesnt activesync work over wifi, daft way of settings things up in WM5..
