Any one got any experience on this?

Thinking I'll buy a Xeon for my x79 machine and see if I can reach 4.75 but with 6 cores rather than the 2 I have on the 3820 chip.

Thinking e5 1660 v2.

Thoughts from people that have done this or seriously considered it wanted.
 
Yeah I've confirmed via another forum you can. They are unlocked and most seem to get to 4.6 or 4.7.

Basically thinking it's a 4930k (e5-1650 v2) with OC capability for about £150.

I'm on x79.
