Whats the difference? For the pretty basic user is there any noticable difference?

I can get an extreme music for £35-£40 second hand so the difference is about £10/£15.

I've been building for about 3 years and after a pretty disasterous soundcard experience a few years back I've always made do with on board but having a set of decent headphones/speakers I'm tempted to get something a bit better now but I'm kinda lost!

Music certainly. It has a whole load of features the Audio does not.

As for which features they are, you'd need to wait for someone who knows more, but i'm sure i'm right! :p

Ive had both the PCI-E X-Fi ( a totally different cartd to the PCI version ) and an extreme music.

Both worksed great and sounded great in games.

Music. The quality of the components is better.

Would have been a lot easier if you'd carried out a search.
