xfi vista drivers

Hello,

Just formatted and decided to give Vista another go, I'm looking for the X-Fi Gamer 7.1 sound drivers but can't see them on creative website. Also whats with the different routes (X-Fi > Sound Blaster) - (Sound Blaster > X-Fi) for the same drivers?

I got the OEM Xtreme Music from OcUK yesterday and it came with a Vista install disc along with an XP one.

As there the same price id go for the extreme music

The Music is better than the Gamer also better DAC's and CAP's (you can read all, info if you use search.

hes not looking for a card? its the drivers he's after.

OP get them from the US site not the UK one. for some reason they havent thought to put them on the UK site

Doh, well the drivers are deffo there, just get the ones for the xtreme music as they are the same drivers

off topic - I bought an xtreme music x-fi card from the mm a few months back while using XP. Could not get the darn XP drivers to instal, kept giving me issues.

Eventually upgraded to vista, popped the souncard back in the case and tried the vista drivers. Worked like a charm, no problems and now finally enjoy the cards performance over crappy onboard.

Point was that vista drivers are not all bad
