Xfi Xtreme Music + XP + 4Gb Ram

About to buy an XFi. Have 4Gb of ram in Windows XP. Have heard that this combo doesn't work.

Does it?

Yea i think its to do with the motherboard too as i had problems when i had my P5K Premium but no problems with the exact same stuff in a Maximus formula
