Xfire 3870's or 3870 X2?

Hi,

Recently I purchased two Powercolour HD3870 XT's from OCuK and I am tempted to purchase a new X2 but from reading reviews its not massively better then my current spec.

Would it be an advantage changing to one of these cards ?

3870X2.

It appears the X2 uses Crossfire, but with drivers that are better than the "normal" Crossfire drivers. There are bugs present in games with a pair of 3870s that aren't there in the X2.

I'm pondering the same thing at the moment. Although I'll probably wait for the "release day premium" to drop off the price, and wait for the drivers that support 4-way CrossfireX.

Then I'll grab an X38 and have some 4-way action

I just noticed that the X2 cards are not marked up as HDCP ready where as the 3870 single gpu cards are?? is that true
