Can someone please answer this question..

Why is the XFX GeForce 7300 GS 512MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (PVT72G-WANG) (GX-066-XF) so cheap, at £50.. ?

1. It uses the entry-level GeForce 7-series GPU
2. It uses DDR2 SDRAM (much cheaper than GDDR3)
3. It's a low-end graphics card - don't let the 512MB RAM fool you into thinking otherwise

its slower than a 128MB X700 or 128MB 6600, so there are far better cards.

ahh yes, it uses turbocache so not a real 512MB card anyway

Havana_UK has summed it up pretty nicely, there is no point in having 512mb Ram on a graphics card that slow. Having loads of Ram that isn't fast is no use, you'd be as well getting a 128mb version of the card if they did them, also it appears to be using something along the lines of the Turbocache that the 6200 series used
Supports upto 512MB memory (1GB System memory required for 512MB function)
which isn't good.
