Oh and Hi Danny - As to the remark earlier, I will not be using this productdon't have to as I can 1337 pwn a noob at a 1000 paces
.
You have lost me, I've not directed any remark at you, I've just looked through again to see if there is something I've missed
yeah there's a lot of 10 sens slight of hand quick scopers that with a some help from auto aim pull off silly stuff.
Not cheap mind! Stuff paying that.
Currently i'm looking for a way to get my G27 working with the Xbox. All the decent Xbox wheel have been discontinued or utter rubbish.
That's why i'm interested in the Xim3, if people start confirming that this works with the G27 in driving games (I'd be happy even without FF) then i would get one.
The only other thing i can see that's a possibility is the CrossFire for the 360
Yep. There's threads all over tonnes of gaming forums with people ready to jump on. I think once they're are out there and people start having XIM3 in there clan tag etc it will just spiral from there. Its going to be fairly mainstream and they'll be uk suppliers as well. They are going to be priced competitive with the crap adaptors out on the market so wont be that expensive either. Personal I think they'll be huge.
Good info and I see your point. I didnt realise the situation with the security chip my post you quote was from last month and I've read the current thread as well - and I agree it does seem likely something will be done if they go for a UK distributor..As discussed in the other thread on these, it's highly unlikely they will get a release in the UK. They are a product that uses Microsoft technology, designed for Microsoft's console which is neither licensed or endorsed. Microsoft's lawyers here in the UK will have anyone who attempts to stock them shut down before they can blink.
Obviously US law is different, which is why it surprised me that their online operation continues to exist. However, somebody stated that the website is possibly not hosted in the US or some such.
These guys may have gotten away with it while they were small and selling a few of them. Releasing a new one and attempting to go big with it will have them shot down in no time. Going up against Microsoft and Sony, two of the biggest players in the electronics industry, it's not going to end well for them.
