Xmas card from RM

They even went to the effort of printing each address on the evelope, even though every house will get one. They didn't need to print our address on the double glazing leaflet that the royal mail also delivered

Rm i presume means royal mail.

if so they have a hard neck going on strick and then sending this kind of tat out

If you read it, you'll find it isn't really a Christmas card at all. It's just another way of presenting the information about Christmas services (e.g. last posting dates).

Yes, i do know that, but the only sort of people that need to know this are probably clever enough to find out by other means, and the sort of people that don't need to know this throw the card straight into the bin. Wouldn't a simple A6 black and white(maybe a bit of red) leaflet with the info on be of more use. Especially as it isn't even December yet!

You come across as somebody who moans just for the sake of it! Moaning about a bit of paper a mail company has sent with factual information on, whatever next!!!

You'd be surprised. How easy is it to find out about the extra deliveries, for example? Oh, and I suspect that missing last posting dates might be rather common.

While he is moaning a bit he has a point, massive levels of waste

And the random junk that gets delivered to everyone's door isn't? At least this has some useful information on it.

If you don't like it, you could always seal up your letter box. :p

I agree, but several wrongs don't make a right. It's not something I ever think about as there's monumental levels of waste everywhere and there's nothing I'm gonna do, still, he's right
