I've been drawn a housemate of mine in a Secret Santa thingy who is off to Cambodia/Vietnam/Thailand in 4 weeks or so and i want to get him something functional.

Any ideas?

How about something not functional as he may already have them all, but instead a voucher for a tour/guided visit or similar for something along his route?
