Xmas shopping, online or shops?

Online all the way, using Quidco to get cashback is more of a bonus and I don't have to deal with plebs in shopping centres walking around like zombies, queues in the stores and stops me buying stuff for myself that I really don't need.

I also really hate food shopping at the moment. It seems every one in Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys cannot use a trolley and the fact all of the supermarkets here ram the shelves so close up to the tills there is no room to move when there is a slight queue in any check out.

Shop shopping sucks !!

Bought something last night online for the misses though now....fearing it wont turn up in time :( ohwell :)

Always online though for me lol.

Raymond Lin, I might do that.

You're in purley. I did a little gig at the Jolly Farmers pub in purley on friday, right opposite tesco's. :)

I normally know exactly what I'm buying so its all about doing it online. Can be done and dusted in an hour or 2 without having to go out and get cold

If only you could order your food from a supermarket's website and have them deliver it to you :p

I very rarely buy more than 1 or 2 days worth of food at a time as I just don't have the fridge/freezer capacity to buy bulk.

If I did, I'd be ordering online food all the time. Although I always hear that most stuff you order never turns up or the bill is wrong.

I've walked passed that place many a time but never been in. Any good ?

Certainly a lively and friendly crowd on friday, might be worth a visit, yeah. Always seem to have music on. Menu looks good too. I'm not much of a pub goer though, only when I'm getting paid to play music there :p Took me 2 hours and 20 bloody minutes to do just 20 miles from north london, across central london, through brixton and streatham to purley, setting off at 6 pm. Friday night traffic in london, shocking!

No trains ?

Purleys pretty easy to get to from anywhere in London

Did all of mine online a few weeks ago, via cashback sites.

If someone gets a duplicate present then it's tough. I never RMA.

I used to do the same, but when I went online it's actually quite easy to buy a week's worth of food. Had a good clear out of the freezer so I had room for bread.

I've never had any major problems with my orders, sometimes they have to switch stuff but that's OK - they tell you in advance and you can reject it no problem if it's not what you want. Only once have they switched something in that I didn't like.

Might be something to look in to in the new year then. I was tempted by the milkman for bread and milk but they don't do much else.

I'll get my Tesco online details amended and then see what the fuss is all about.
