Xonar DX. Is it possible to have sound profiles for different outputs?

Hi guys

I'd like to have the sound settings for standard stereo on the rear port for my hifi, but to automatically switch to headphones and dolby virtual headphones when I plug them into the front headphone jack.

My onboard realtek card can do this, but it seems I have to manually change everything for the Xonar. Is this something I can configure?

Nope. Would be nice to have such a feature though.

Really? Wow didn't expect the onboard to be able to do that but not the Xonar!

yea it sucks.

also their support is naff. check out there official website forum and there are never any replies. software was updated ages ago.

however, i really like my dx its a definite improvement over onboard with my HD600 senns.

in future i will probably use my onboard and send to outboard dac/amp but have the benefit of the realtek software.
