xvid/divx via s-video to telly.

Hey all, got a nice long svideo cable today to output my PC video to my telly, have got the desktop on screen but cant see video, can anyone help me out? wanna watch me home movies etc on the widescreen ya see

this rig is an LGA775 3.2@4Ghz 1gig 533 DDR2 and a 6200 with tv-out oh and 1.2Tb storage

you need to open up the nvidia properties...

on your telly make sure you are on the right AVI channel probably 1 or 2 and then mess about with the nvidia properties...

I dont know the correct way but thats how I did it

enable the tv out, if need be change the videocard settings so that it's using the TV in "theater mode" (displays video files in fullscreen on the TV regardless of the window in the primary display).

You will also need to run a cable from the soundcard to the TV for sound

I beleive there are a number of threads with this question here and in GC

hmm dont seem to have that option in fact this forceware is odd, different to what they were when i ran 7800GTX's hmm oh damnit im being thick, cli9cked advance options and got it all sorted now, yeah forgot the sound cable! but will play ok on PC speakers for now i geuss. Cheers guys, thread closed
