Yay! Indian call center lols

Meh. I just say no thanks and please take me off your call list.

Do people really think hurling abuse at the call center worker really makes a difference? They just go onto the next call and put a tick against your name to call again just because you've been an ass.

Yes, after all being paid to do something means it's perfectly moral and polite and no one should criticise them for it, only the other day I was saying how people were too hard on Himmler.

Well done, you've just effectively Godwin'ed the thread.

Sure it's annoying getting cold called but usually a simple "no thank you" works fine in terms of stopping the call, from the original post it just looks as if they were trying to mock someone or get them in trouble for what might be a less than perfect understanding of English.

It was fairly amusing. Doubt he'll lose his job over it as they have to record calls by law, as far as I know.

It was a indian one so who cares! most dont even deserve to be spoken to as they cant understand you..

I tell them to call back during british working hours and when they can speak english..

There are not loads of english people pestering them so why pester us!

This is not on, just because you don't understand someone's accent or dialect does not mean they're not worth talking too.

And we pester them for cheap labour, the same as we do to a lot of poor countries.....

lol

Had one yesterday that phones my mum up and she was there talking for ages then just turned around and ssaid not interested as she hung up the phone.
It the rang a few moments later to which i answered and said she was unavailable he then said but i spoke to her a minute ago, He kept insisting she was around as he spoke to her a few moments ago but i kept telling him otherwise , he then tried asking me for all the info so just left the phone on the side with the mic muted( Gotta love that feature ! )

Bit harsh on the first bloke you spoke to. He might lose his job for that. Was funny til then.

The call is probably recorded, so the OP will be proven to be a wally.

A better one would be to go through the whole process and then at the end when they ask if there's any other info or whatever, say "Oh, one more thing that might be relevant - I've just got out of jail for credit card fraud - will that affect my application?"
