Hi,

I won a Netbook yesterday and before I paid the seller I emailed him to check that he would package it up well (their last feedback the buyer stated they received the item poorly packaged). I also wanted him to know I wouldnt be home until the end of this month and although someone will be home to take delivery I wont be able to give feedback until I was home myself.

Fast forward 24 hours I have no reply so I mail him again asking he got my message and he has replied saying yes he's received it but now decided not to sell it

can he do this? (well obviously he CAN do this but) I cant figure if this is against ebay rules seeing as I havent sent money yet.

many thanks

I don't see much point in persuing it really, the only person out of pocket is him and all you lost was a bit of time.

You can be all butch and leave negative feedback, but that's about it.

oh, if he does the "agree not to complete" thingy, be sure to say that you do want to complete, then he'll still have to pay his final valuation fees ;)

It's been a while since I had to leave negative and when I did the seller spitefully gave me negative in return. Am I right that they can;t do that now?
