YESSS!!! fractal define r4 is out!

I have the R3 and i find it to be a very easy case to get on with. Plenty of space for fans all over the case and room for a rad up the top, the perfect case for me as i have it in my living room next to the tv stand. So i can imagine the R4 will be just as good if not better.
 
The price difference is £25/£30 for the R4. Is it worth the extra? The only improvements I can find is the fitted fan controller, lack of rubber grommets and 140mm fans?
 
Very nice the Fractual R2 has been my best case ive brought to date and ive had many cases even £180 lian lis etc.

I saw the R3 as a revised/improved or "fixed" case, cos I noticed a few issues with the R2 nothing major but the R3 just did it better but the R4 looks even more fixed, noticed they added more space behind the motherboard back for cable wiring, theres mention of hiding SSDs there also.

Excellent touches all round and then they forget to add support for perhaps the no1 rated CPU Cooler the Corsair H100....

Still theres plenty top coolers and ultimately one can get a more silent cooler with a better fan for the heatsink.

I wonder how it compares to the Corsair Obsidian 550D Case....

lol i got that feel, its like watch something while your waiting for something else... you don't have anything else to do but watch it. That's how it felt but i was slightly interested by it, it did it's job i want one now but too expensive for my build
 
They are releasing a windowed version of the R4 in the next few months, if any of you are interested
 
Been comparing width measurement between R3 and R4 and something isn't right.

I'm guessing the 170mm CPU clearance is really 180mm

R4 is 24.6 wider than R3 but only 5mm more CPU clearance??? Okay, R4 is 8-13mm more behind mobo + 5mm so 13-18mm total width.. Where's the other 6.6-11.6mm

R3: 207.4mm width,165mm CPU clearance , 13-18mm behind motherboard. 178-183mm + 15mm (mobo, standoff, CPU socket) = 193-198mm + 10mm for sound dampening. and we have 208mm

R4: 232mm width, 170mm CPU clearance, 26mm behind motherboard. 196mm + 15mm (mobo, standoff, CPU socket) = 211mm + 10mm for sound dampening. and we have 221mm. Wheres the missing 11mm??

The R4 has moore room behind the motherboard.
