Whilst on the subject of Superflower PSUs, do they have any sleeved cables that are compatible?

same for me, no uk plug with my SF psu, didnt bother me as ive got a whole box of kettle leads and obsolete bits up the loft, but could be an issue for other people i guess
 
I've noticed for a while now, maybe since the germans took ownership but not sure when exactly, that lots of people mention on the forums that they didn't receive a 3-Pin lead. I presumed they had stopped being sent out by default, you only get one if you ask. Which I always thought was a bit naughty because I'm sure it's a legal requirement.

Personally I think the only legal requirement should be to offer one as an option at point of purchase, it's just a waste if you already have one.
 
That's not quite correct, every unit should come with a 3 Pin UK kettle lead as standard, and if they don't, please let me know so I can ensure that it does not happen again moving forward.

Does the little birdy happen to know if it's likely to be a weekly or a daily thing to look out for?

My psu is off for RMA and feeling itchy to buy stuff as won't trust Corsair again.

It needs looking into then mate, some people get one some don't, 5 people in this thread alone have said they didn't receive one and Rroff said it's "hit and miss" implying he's bought sereral PSUs and not always received a UK plug/lead.

Anyway, it's not the end of the world but if there is a gremlin in the system now you know ;)
 
Agreed, so if anyone gets a unit with the wrong lead, please do the following 2 things: -

1) Message CS to get a kettle lead sorted.
2) Trust message me so I can look into it.

Should sort it then :)
 
Just to clarify,my leadex 750w had a 2pin euro plug in its box,and the UK lead provided was separate and obviously an extra thrown in by OcUK.

If your PSU arrives on its own,you wont have a UK lead in the box.Unless the factory shipped specs have changed?

Not yet,SF showed sleeved cables sets off for these PSU's last year,but they stil cant be bought anywhere sadly :(

Due to the patented LEDs connecters no1 else can produce Custom kits for the Leadex PSU's.
