Hmmm. I love the internet, as you never know how truthful people are being. I was right with you until you told us the coppers gave you a lift home with blue lights flashing. This is absolutely and category against the rules and I doubt any police officer would risk his career by doing it.

My step-dad is a firefighter, they often two-tone it into the Maccy D's. I don't think it's that uncommon to be honest.

i agree, a friend of mine's wife is a cop and they are told to "make progress" i.e. don't sit around in traffic all day wasting tax payers money.

That sucks syke, glad it wasn't any worse though!

My sister's boyfriend was recently mugged and beaten up after falling asleep in a taxi. You just can't go anywhere without wondering 'what if' these days :(

Don't let what the few insensitive people say get to you. In the thread I made about my sister's boyfriend getting mugged, there were a few people saying that he deserved it for being drunk  lol

Yeah i read about that, must be terrible, you expect getting in something like that to be safe - and for that to happen, its just pathetic, whats happening to everything nowadays.

Ive given all details i can, they are ringin back tomorrow..see if i remember anything else.

Then i think they're arranging a day where i check footage from the CCTV, and look through photographs identifying them.

They've given me this 'CAD' number, which i have to quote if i see them at all, and it'll be for that incident and then they'll report it and get the squad cars there.

Getting mugged is ****. i was mugged by a skaghead with a syringe 3" from my eye, i was 30 yards from my house. Dumbly i refused to actually give him my wallet, just gave him the £5 i had and some tobacco.

Luckily they caught him and he went to jail :) the fool had spent the day mugging people and was all over the towns CCTV.

Yeah, hopefully some of them were the ones near us at the stadium, theres bound to be CCTV outside.

If its them, their camera will have pics of them with some of the players.. we were talking to a few players, Matty Taylor, David James etc - so we'll see what happens really.

I really hope that it was them, and there is CCTV.

Sorry to hear that mate :(. Most important thing is you're all safe.

Had a similar thing happen to me about 2 years ago, though without knives thankfully, when I was out with the gf. 3 guys surrounded us and started shouting at us etc.. Normally I would have just ran as I'm v.quick but obviously wouldn't have just left my gf  Most people laugh when I say that but better to run away than be lying in a gutter lol! I ended up practically deaf in one ear for a couple of weeks with a burst ear drum -one of them hit me from behind! They only stopped when I managed to push the smallest of them into traffic (though at the time I had no idea where I was pushing him).

OT The thread title rang a bell as last week I got a phone call from HSBC saying "Hello is that Mr. ****. Are you currently on holiday?"
Turned out someone was using a counterfeit card in Malaysia of all places! They got about £200 but I should get it back by the end of this week after its been investigated. Needless to say my account has been frozen until my new cards come :(

I'd be interested to know your views of immigration before and after the mugging.

Fact is, we are far too soft on these black streaks of excrement. All they need to do is play the race card, and everybody is on their side.

The immigrants who come into the country, suck us dry, then play the race card - I'd love to send them on some sort of leaky ship to the deepest ocean...

Oh and ignore Fox. He's too far up his rectum, and needs to jump out of his parents hands into the real world.

That's pretty ******. Hope the perpetrators get caught.

even if they are caught, they won't get thier stuff back, and there will be no real form of punishment. Maybe a fine (which they'll pay for with stolen goods money) or community service.

its a good thing you didn't fight back, or you would have likely been detained for participating in racially motivates something or other.

Well lets hope something happens, in a way we're not bothered they got stuff from us, we'd rather be safe than anything.

I was carrying iPod, D900, 3 Season Tickets, Money etc.

We'll see what happens, theres surely many cameras outside the stadium, so hopefully we can identify what they were definately wearing and whether it was them.

Im not going to comment on immigrants or what ever, the fact is, the people who did it were black, and also it generally always is, not trying to point the finger at black people, but it is mostly true.

Lets hope they get appropriate punishment, if they are caught.

I completely agree, England used to be amazing, no crime, mugging never happened, our streets were really safe, no terrorist attacks, high standard of living, it was great :(

What went wrong!

EH?

When was all this happening?

Perhaps before WWI when people left their doors unlocked as they had nothing to nick anyway and you'd still get hung for certain crimes?

It would have been about 9.30 when they drove us back.

This is from Putney to my house, which is generally a fair journey with traffic.
