You know it's cold when.....

... and jeans instead of shorts.
I know a couple people with block heaters but they have diesel trucks. It doesn't stay that cold for very long, just a few days a year, and not every single year.
Like someone said it's a very dry cold and doesn't feel bad unless there is a wind. I was shoveling my driveway in a tshirt yesterday and it was i think -11 C but the sun as shining and there was no wind so it felt ok if you are moving around.
Ya, I've heard of people getting frost bite on you know who because it wasn't completely dry.
The cold is different over here though. It is dry. Yesterday it was -20 odd and although it was cold because of the wind chill it wasn't "that" bad.
Same over here though. Feels far colder when it's around freezing than when its at -3 or below because there is moisture in the air.
Stupid rain.
