Free e-cookie to the first person to tell me what it is!!

Spotted this in the K-Mart / MacDonalds parking lot in town. It's ALL original.

GAH!

I suck at years. :(

'53?

'54 New Yorker?

Damn you and your American cars that are all identical other than headlights and badges. :p

Retro parking? :p

Heh, if I had an ALL original equipment 1953/54 Chrysler New Yorker Town & Country Tudor, I'd park it in the middle of nowhere covering 2-4 spots as well!!

It had a couple small dings (as a car that's over 50 years old will), and the front bumper had some signs of wear, but other than that the car was in immaculate condition. Even the paint is original!!

From the looks of the picture, it looks like you live quite far out in the countryside!!
You wanna see the vid of him driving round his land in his truck. It really is backyard Minnesota! :D

If anyone still has that saved on thier HDD, feel free to upload it and post it. I took it off my hosting for space, and with my slow connection it would take forever to load it up again (24MB file size).

I love it, but is it a Chrysler? Just that the silver piece on the bonnet doesn't seem very Chrysler! Although I don't know much about American cars. I just fell in love with a 1960 Chevrolet Corvette when I first saw one in a classic cars book I have :)

Yes, it is. Take a close look in the third picture. Look on the dash panel directly above the reflection of the "Big K" sign. Chrysler is in chrome in a cursive handwriting font right above the glove box door, to the right of the original (and still functioning) analog clock.

And yes, that car is his daily driver. At least during the non-snow months anyways. For snow driving he takes out the all original '53 Willy's!!!
