We had one enforced on us in 1983 in Swindon. Not allowed on the street without your Parents or a responsible adult after 7pm and before 6am. Lasted all summer iirc

Typical Umbro clothing, hoodies, walking the streets at night next to what appears to be a block of flats. They feel isolated? I wonder why.

I wouldn't want to speak to them either. Probably get stabbed for initiating a conversation.

Main reason I'm learning to DJ is to go out and meet new people, but around my area theirs jack all to do if your around 15+.

Touch wood I don't seem to have much of a problem where I live. Which is strange considering that even though I live in a new build estate it's about a 1 minute walk to the type of estate where the police regularly patrol

I suppose it kinda helps that whenever most of the people round here see me, I'm walking my staffy so I look like I fit in

Never did me any harm while I was growing up, and I never felt socially isolated.

Didn't do much of the crime though.
