***Your 2011 Aspirations***

My main goal for 2011 is to make a solid start to my Merchant Navy Engineering Officer Cadetship in January. It's an opportunity I've been wanting and working toward for a long time, and I plan on giving it my all.

Whilst at College however, I also plan on really hammering myself back into shape. These past few months being trapped in a job I despise have really taken their toll, with my enthusiasm for anything other than crashing on the couch after work being completely sapped thanks to the stress that place loads onto you day in day out.

Hopefully graduate with at least a 2.1 and stop being lazy and actually do some exercise. Perhaps have a job by the end of the year and maybe even a nicer car...!

Change job / Start my own agency
Get back on the mountain bike (asthma kills me in the cold)
lose weight using the above
Try to start my savings, already got pension set for january
Girl would be good but I seem to fail at that

Good choice, I am still considering the Merchant Navy. I've had interviews with 2 companies, I ballsed up my Clyde Marine one, and I was really ill so couldn't make my Maersk one. Gutted. :(

Have you tried SSTG mate? They're definitely worth an application. I'm going with Clyde Marine myself, placed at South Tyneside College. Not sure who my sponsor is until I start, but hopefully either Chevron, K-Line or Wilhelmsen Ship Management.

I'll have a look at SSTG, I'm pretty sure I applied to them. I live across the road from South Tyneside College, keep away from Shields town centre on a night out and all will be good :p

Hmmm, I have a massive list of things to do... One of them is to get myself sorted by going to the gym on a regular routine! Never seems to happen but I am sticking to it now.

Graduate.
Pay off my overdraft and save up to go travelling (looking at SE asia with some time in a thai kickboxing camp).
