Your Alarm Clock

Don't you find that if you snooze it feels like it was only momenta ago the original alarm went off?

Like if I set mine for 7.40 then another goes off at 7.45 I feel like I literally was awake but those 5minutes passed by in a flash!

Shower night before

7:35 alarm, snooze for 10 minutes twice and then get up and drink the coffee I prepared the other night. Get ready, and lLeave by 8:19am.

Shower in the morning

7:35 alarm, fall into shower, fall out of shower, get ready and leave by 8:19am

5.45 then snooze for 10 mins, then another at 6,00 I snooze both until the missus get fed up or I have the inclanation to get up, usually out of the house on the bike by 6.30, maybe 7.00 on a Friday, at work by 7.30 - 8.00

I set 3 alarms on my phone... 6.55, 6.58 and 7.03... then I also have a snooze duration of 5 minutes between those times.
So really, my alarm goes off at 6.55, 6.58, 7.00, 7.03 and 7.08 :D

Normally wake up about half 6 7 anyway then go back to sleep gf wakes me up when she gets up about half 7 then i snooze till she leaves at 5 to 8 and i get up then and get ready.

Alarm Clock - 7am

Phone Alarm - 6am, 6.15am, 6.30am, 6.45am, 6.55am, 7.05am

Just in case. 7.05 is the latest I can get up and still be fine to get to work for 8.

Used to be:

6:30 am - goes off - get up

Has now worked its way to:

6:00am - goes off, turn off.
6:20am - second alarm goes off, turn off
6:30 am - third alarm goes off, get up.

Not that I need three alarms I just like falling back into a deep sleep quickly.

Whats the advantage of getting up and going back to sleep?

You might as well spend that extra 20-30mins in sleep in the first place

06:00 hit snooze for 10mins - not to go back to sleep purposely, but to just give myself 10minutes to slowly rise and if I do happen to fall back to sleep the snooze alarm is my safety net - then up - followed by a drive to train station, then a train to work :(
