Your circle of friends & occupations

Lots of hugely mixed groups of friends being mentioned here, something which i bet makes things quite interesting. I guess with mine its that none of us really knew what we wanted to do, so we all copied eachother and as a result of working for ourselves havnt really met anyone else.

We all missed the uni boat due to being too damn lazy and being involved in other things at that age. Not sure if i regret that or not.

That's the problem, aye. He does alright though, seems to be in one of those areas where whilst it's quite secluded, the people have nothing else to spend their stupidly excessive salaries on and/or farmers with flourishing farms.

I'm taking it off topic, I'll post my circle on friends when I can be bothered :D

No worries at all, its very interesting to hear of someone with experience of what ive always viewed as an almost perfect life :)

Connected with my original post, i dont know _anyone_ (in real life) who went to uni either thinking about it

Haha, well, my parents fell in love with the idea after spending some time with him. Seems like if you can find a sweetspot you can be very successful.

Uni... Apart from yourself? IIRC you went for a wee while? I recall seeing pictures of you outside halls with people taking partin initiations?

Yeah my parents pretty much forced me to go, i ended up spending 2-3 days per week there and then back with people down here the rest of the time. Needless to say i didnt last long and no work was ever done!
