What's the dosing pump like w3bbo, i have my heart set on the Kamoer, i think i may of just hit £5.500 maybe £6000 mark on my marine setup :eek: if the Mrs only knew :D

Tbh mate they are all pretty much of a muchness imo. I had a standalone Jebao DP4 before this which was great. Never missed a beat, dosed accurately once calibrated, easy to program and best of all was £70 new. If I was getting a standalone doser I wouldn't waste my money on an expensive one. I only got the GHL so I could control it from my laptop.

The chinese are making some very good copies. Marine color copied the Kamoer design. Jebao copied the GHL design. I wouldn't be surprised if they were built in the same factory truth be told.

That said, I do like the shiny things in life. The Kore 5th doser looks immense! I wonder if I could sneek it past the mrs?!

Does look good that doser, just bought some Kamoer brackets and dosing containers tonight, space is getting tight hence the bought brackets.:)

I know that feeling. After going to a 3 foot with no sump and a very small cabinet to the 4ft I thought I'd have loads of free space. WRONG!

It's soon filled up now but just managed to squeeze in a copepod farm yesterday. Don't think I can get much else in there now. Time for a 6ft tank me thinks :D

Excuse the mess just setting it up!

No unfortunatly not!, yeah was pretty much assembled except adding the di resin and osmosis filter

Made a school boy error first of all tho. As it came with the 2 large filters already installed i thought it was ready to use but they were still wrapped in plastic lol, took me ages to work that one out

Is that stuff legal in the UK now? I know customs wouldn't allow imports at one point due to a banned chemical.

Melanarus wrasse did a great job on my flatworm issue a couple of years back.

Do it! Couldn't say no for £30!

Back all fine and dandy to buy here in the UK now - theres a few shops with it in stock!

Psst my DP4 like you hasnt missed a beat - best £60 spent on some chinese stuff in a fair while!

I dosed the FE which did turn up today, surprising how many are there that you just cant see - I had been keeping mine under control to an extent with a silver belly but thats taken to eating everything but them of late!

can anyone recommend some easy to keep plants.

tank being only 15L i don't want anything crazy growing. minimum maintenance required.

also some substrate pref black.

Its pay day friday so will be ordering :)

Added 6 glowlight tetra today. Looking nice the tank now :) anyone give recommendations for live plants? Iv got two fake plants with another on way. Was wanting some slow growing live plant to tie onto two bits of driftwood? So 2 types of slow growing little maintainance plant which be fine on driftwood?
