Could have been a fake tank used to trick the enemy into believing there were bases in places there were not.

Saw a documentary on this and some of the tanks and bases they made (through air inflatation) were pretty damn convinving. That was until one soldier came over and started rolling the tank away.

yeah i saw that aswell, allied made lots of fake inflatable tanks and put them on the cost of scotland to give Germans the Impression they were gonna invade Then german Occupided Scandanavia. but i think that Tiger tank is genuine.

That's cool. As well as just an "accident" it could have been caused by allied high explosive. Tankers were particulary aware of allied air attacks, as that's the sort of thing likely to flip a tank as heavy as that over. But it looks to me as if the Germans have moved it there themselves - perhaps it was immobilised, run out of fuel or something, and they stick it "out of the way"

I'd like to find out more about that.
