'Your version of Windows 10 will reach end of service soon'

Hi Folks

So I'm getting this message on my PC and being prompted to check for updates to get the latest version of Windows 10 but none are found, only an 'optional' update KB5001566.

I'm on Windows 10 version 1909 so how do I get the latest version? Apologies for the noob question here

I haven't stopped Windows updates and I'm not on the insider build

Perhaps I will be offered the download at some point but keep getting prompted with this message and then not being offered the actual update for Windows

Thanks fella! Yeah I wonder why it wasn’t offered to me? Maybe cause they know it will potentially brick my machine

I have the Pro version and used the update assistant as suggested. It done the job!

Computer is now running like a bat out of hell. I can’t keep up with it

Everything went ok thankfully but it did take a good while to do the update.

I had no idea my version was so old as Windows update was telling me all was ok and I had all the latest updates lol
