Panasonic TH42PX60 is a nice plasma TV. Prices range from 999inc VAT, to around 1500inc Vat.

I picked one up off the highstreet, for £1299, including VAT, stand, delivery, a DVD ram/rom/rw recorder, and a box of DVD+rw.
