Haven't used my desktop for about 3 days, came to it today and the speakers are completely dead. Normally when these are plugged in but not turned on the control unit emits a red light from the power button (and a blue one when on). It doesn't do anything now

I know we've had storms and stuff in the last few days, but they've weathered many before, and they're connected to a surge protector and share that protector with a computer, tv, monitor, 360, etc. - all of which are fine.

Any ideas anyone? I was going to try a fuse replacement (either in the plug or in the subwoofer), but that's all I can think of at the moment. And I can't do that until tomorrow when I can buy some fuses

Fuse blew all the time when I had a set. Pile of **** imo, so much so that I just got a refund and bought a reasonable separates system instead.

Only just seen your advice, but went to the local hardware shop this morning anyway and got some fuses and the speakers are working fine now. Thanks anyway though, guys.

So long as they don't develop any 'real' problems I can live with replacing a 25p fuse every now and again! I must have missed previous talk about it being a common problem - have Logitech commented on it/promised to fix it for future sets then?

I managed to get 10 2A slow blow fuses off ebay for about £1.50. First worked for about 9 months but i sent them back because they picked up radio, the second set blew one within the first week and has been fine since. I wouldnt say theres any massive problem with them, just seems some people get unlucky and get a bad set.
