Be good to know what Z370s produce the equivilent performance of there Z390 counter parts.
and have VRMS that wont catch on fire or throttle under 5.0ghz+ 9900K`s...

anyone have any information......

For instance, i might just might keep this 9900k but i would be pairing it with my Gigabyte z370 gaming 7 board..

anyone know if the boards VRM`s could be up to the job to get no throttling or performance stats lol

Depends how hard your going to push it ...

Gaming, it will run hot and running AVX it'll fail according to this - bare in mind open test bench with no direct VRM cooling

worth changing Thermal Pads personally, done this on every Gigabyte and asus board - thermal grizzly Pad 8 are prett good and not to costly, normally drops temps at sensor source by 10c but does make Heatsink naturally hotter .

In theory, Aorus/Gigabte entry z390 for £120-150 should do a good job, whilst not the best Mosfet units they have larger number to spread the heat - again means a hot heatsink and can take something like 700amps

Slap EK Mono block and temps will be just fine on ANY Z370 Board :D

seems reasonable i already haver a EK monoblock on the board ;) so temps wont be a issue, and for all i know AVX probably fails due to heat output so in theory if cooler it might pass lol :)

Should be fine with water block ! Will keep under the Xtreme 64c temp for AVX 5ghz 2+ hour on water

Hopefully my Asus Maximus X Code will allow me to do a decent overclock on the 9900k.

Be interesting to see the load and load over single 8 pin
