what boards have the best audio?

which ones? have a high output headphone jack that can be routed to the front of the case?

For headphone gaming motherboards tend to have lacking features.
Realtek doesn't have good binaural-simulation.

Anyway what headphones you have?

yeah was just looking to see what the best ones are....

got Sennheiser HD600 and a Magni 2 just now but could be handy to plug straight in to the PC sometimes....

Aorus 7 has best onboard audio , front and rear headphone .
Only ROG flashsgip x399 and x299 board matches it .
Quite surprised the Hero didn't use the same components . Catches a few people out as the DAC they use has a slightly higher serial number with slight different between the letters, but the DAC is of lessor quality to the Aorus 7 and their flagship £500 boards

Have to Google the DAC, most or hardcore audio forums that list the details about it , Mobo webpage is really lacking
