Zalman VF900-CU - Easy to fit?

They are very easy to fit IMO. Im not sure what the stock cooler on a 7600GT sounds like, but the vf900 is pretty silent, especially if you slow the fan down a tiny bit.
 
Yeah, the cooler is quite straightforward to fit. There are detailed step-by-step instructions so as long as you follow them, there shouldn't be any problems. I think it took 10-15 minutes to install.

Mine is fitted on an X1900XTX and the temperatures are a few degrees cooler compared with the stock cooler. When the Zalman is turned right down, you can hardly hear it. When turned to maximum, there's a small whooshing sound which isn't too bad.

Does the fan header fit on the card or do i need to fit it on a mobo header?
 
You need to connect the fan to a motherboard header but I've got mine connected to a Vantec fan controller. The cooler comes with its own fan controller though.
