I am off there in around 2weeks time.
Any sights you recommend going to see or activities you recommend doing?
How about night life? Where are the "hot spots"?
Cheers,
Chris

Lucky sod.

Hotel was really really nice, lots of hotties around, beach was excellent, fantastic weather.
But the night life sucked. There were loads of quiet pubs and only 2 proper nightclubs, one of them wasn't open until the last night... but WHAT a night that was
Ok, so it didn't suck as it's much better than being stuck in England over the summer, but if I could go back to Greece, it would be to Sidari in Corfu. Now that was a holiday!
Loads of brits go to Laganos (I think that's it). Was about an hours coach ride from Tsilivi and supposed to be the place to go for a night out.

. If you go there I would advise you to not go out until 10/11 at night otherwise trying to last all night when you start drinking at 8 can get very messy, me and my friend did that one night and I lost my memory, we had no idea how we got back to the apartment, I don't think the dentists chair, beer, shots and fishbowls helped though
. I will warn you though a lot of the clubs only play R&B, which is fine if you like that sort of thing otherwise head over to Cocktails and Dreams where they play everything apart form pop music.

as they can be a right pain in the ass. Oh yeah, and the immigrants selling stuff outside clubs.SteveB_NI said:I particularly liked Rescue nightclub (dance / trance and open till 7am or so at weekends) although also enjoyed a few nights in Cocktails & Dreams (I liked the smoke machine which was triggered every few mins or so outside on the roof terrace).
I would really like to go back, and also to work there.
Laganas is fantastic for nightlife, although the other places Argassi and Tsilvi are also nice - albeit quieter.
Watch out for the guys (usually on motorbikes) who try to sell tickets to clubs off shore which perform games involving intimate acts between girls and boysas they can be a right pain in the ass. Oh yeah, and the immigrants selling stuff outside clubs.
Also the reason we spent a lot of time at the start of the night in G-Spot, there was a stunning bird from Carlilse there :love:agw_01 said:My mum didn't want me going away with them this year as she said I was "too old"![]()

Still if getting mashed out of your head and loads of people in England footy tops and union jack shorts appeals, you might like it.
. The place is full of Chavs though which was annoying
R0551 said:I had 1 bad meal in 2 weeks which isn't too bad and on the whole, England footy tops were mostly worn during the England v Greece match it was very rare we saw people wearing them, maybe I went at a reasonable time. The place is full of Chavs though which was annoying
