korok woods was very visually stunning. Despite the fps drops.

Beaten the boss in Ruta.

It wasn't that difficult in the end but I died loss before learning close quarter combat for phase 1 is best. Just wack wack, charged attack and boom! 50% health.

Bomb arrows for phrase 2. Firing non-stop.

Compare to those horse men things, shoot electric arrows, still can't figure out how to beat them.

Game is amazing. Done two dungeons, released most towers and loads of shrines. I spend my time just exploring. The attention to detail is amazing.

It's a rare game that when you die you want to keep trying and not walk away

I missed the Shrine that teaches you dodges/ parries and backflips. D: 6 hours in and I can finally do these things!!!

For those selling monster parts don't.. a vendor later in the game uses them for currency and you need a lot of them.

I played a couple of hours last night. It really is absorbing. I never was a zelda convert but I'm hooked for sure.

I have all the BotW amiibo besides Zelda herself now, can't believe I got suckered in but they are nice models which will look good on my shelf.

Fish and meat raining down from above when you activate in game is pretty cool too.

Haven't bought the DLC yet totally expect I will, in total this will be the most expensive game I've ever owned by some margin!

Tauren, I take it you've done the Lost Woods? Is it just a case of running around until you find the right route or am I missing something?

There's no luck required, light a torch or other wooden item and follow the wind which will blow the fire particles.

Flipping the jump button and run button controls around DRASTICALLY improved my experience of this game.

You'd have to find it hidden in the options not everybody goes into the options at the start. And I DID do that and I STILL missed the option for ages.

Trouble with this game, the same as something like Bloodborne, is that it's going to make everything else I play after it seem like complete crap!

Ha! Did you figure that out yourself? None of the guides I found explained that it was just follow this route exactly and run if the fog starts closing in.
