*** Zelda: Breath of the Wild ***

on my last template, stuck in the gerudo segment with the thieves hideout! I keep getting caught and have tried the brute force fighting method but can't get past the second section!

Head up the ladder just before the second room, grab a load of bananas. Drop down onto the pillar that's being patrolled. Throw 5 bananas to distract that guard and move clockwise to the next one. Throw 5 more bananas then climb the ladder. Go clockwise and throw 5 bananas to distract the one guarding the door. Drop down and run/glide through the door and you're done.

You can come back a few minutes later to grab the gems/chests so don't worry about picking them up.

Alternatively you can take the enemies down by sneaking up on them but I found that was annoyingly unreliable.

Finished this earlier, not sure how many hours I must've spent on it but i'd guess at around 30.

Excellent game, not as good as Ocarina for me but it's right up there.

How many hearts did you have in the end and did you get the Master Sword and beat 4 divine beasts?

This side quest alone would take a few hours...just to collect all those wood!

You've raced through compared to me! I'm around that many hours and only done 1 boss as I just get sidetracked by exploring and hunting down shrines :)

Think I had over 60 shrines in the end.

Yes master sword, all 4 beasts done, none of the memories though I cba with that. Hearts - 2 onto the second line however many that is, 14?

Wow. By the time I finish it I will probably have at least 20 hearts and a third stamina wheel with the way I am playing.

Love the exploring and doing the shines :)

I have such a huge list of side quests to do yet. I can see this game taking closer to 100 hours for me.

That's crazy fast. I think I'm on about 60 hours and have just done the 3rd DB and around ~45 shrines. I did think earlier though that you could probably do the main quest in very little time at all. The divine beasts are a little disappointing in how short and easy they are. I almost did two in a single sitting the other day but told myself no and went to explore and do some side quests instead. I would prefer temples like the other games with monsters and locked doors etc.

Figured I'd start towards my first Divine Beast at the Zora Kingdom but after 2 hours I was still making m way up the hill due to stopping and searching every nook.

This might take a while.

Also figured out how to defeat the robots wandering the land near the hyrule ruins, probably known by most but avoiding all spoilers and guides so felt satisfying to me.

If you feed the dogs littered round the town, you see the little affection animation above its head (like with the horses) and they'll follow you around town lol

I haven't tried with multiple dogs, but I certainly had one following me round. :D gave him a steak.

That is crazy fast! I'm about 45 hours in and have done 1 DB, and on the boss of a second. I've mostly been exploring everywhere, I've just finished Eventide Island - which was brilliant :D.

How do I find out how long I've been playing ? This game really is unbelievable, the size and scope they have achieved is mind boggling , just keep thinking to myself how have they made a game this big and this good.. And I can play it anywhere !

How do I get to that tower?! Do I go through the front door or is there a sneaky way up?

Climbed up I think. I either find somewhere high and jump from there to get places or climb.

Same, i've not even attempted to kill one of those flying things. I only just got Rivalis Gale but that would have made things a lot easier

I shots a few arrows at it, did little damage so I legged it and just avoided them. Will come back eventually to kill them.

By the way, has anyone been getting constant blood moons? Sometimes I get like 2-3 in 10 minutes, other times won't get one for ages. Weird. Does something actually trigger them?
